About One Life

Over five billion years, life on Earth has evolved into the incredible richness and variety we see today. One Life is a celebration of life bringing some of the most brilliant and imaginative stories from the animal kingdom to the big screen. The story takes us through the full life cycle from birth, to the birth of the next generation, but it also goes one step further revealing that, whether we have wings or flippers, two legs or eight, the triumphant story of life connects us all. Finding food, seeking shelter, survival against all odds… finding a soul mate, raising the young; the themes of One Life are universal and will touch the hearts of audiences everywhere. Cutting edge cinematic techniques capture unprecedented, astonishingly beautiful sequences. We’ll see the depth of a mother’s love through the octopus that gives up her life for her babies, and as snow monkeys shun outsiders from their hot springs, we’ll be reminded of the uncomfortable inequalities that exist in many societies. Parallels are sensitively drawn with the human world as the production makes clear how connected all life is on our planet. One Life is a BBC Earth production narrated by Daniel Craig.

About Tiny Giants 3D

The world beneath our feet - The captivating story of two miniature superheroes…facing the most challenging day of their lives… Tiny Giants 3D reveals the astonishing lives of tiny animals. Using the incredibly immersive power of specialist 3D cameras, audiences will be transported in a very intimate way into another world and experience the titanic battles these creatures face to survive. A chipmunk in a wild wood and a grasshopper mouse in Arizona’s scorched deserts are both forced to grow up fast when they find themselves alone for the first time. Facing experienced rivals and huge predators, our chipmunk must find courage to gather enough nuts for winter. Forced out of the family home, our adolescent grasshopper mouse is then swept away in a flash flood. He needs to learn the skills to survive and lay claim to his own patch of desert as he becomes an adult. Only by using their ingenious ‘superpowers’ can our heroes not only stay alive but also become masters of their universe. Tiny Giants is a BBC Earth production.

About Wild Brazil (3 part series)

Land of fire and flood - Brazil is the wild heart of South America, home to more species than any other country on the planet. But it is also a land of extremes, where animals must learn to adapt to survive. This series follows the intimate lives of an exceptional set of animal characters as time moves from the vast floods of the wet season to the ravaging fires of the dry season. From the early days of a baby tufted capuchin, one of the cleverest monkeys in the world, to the giant river otter family forced to go head to head with the local jaguars, Wild Brazil brings some of the country’s most iconic species to the screens in a fresh and exciting way, offering an intimate and unforgettable window on this exciting and vibrant country. A BBC/Discovery Channel co-production.
